Ayam Kari

(Chicken curry cooked with turmeric)

  • 3 candle nuts
  • 4 pieces red onion
  • 1 piece garlic
  • 2 cm turmeric
  • length lemongrass
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • tablespoon of ground coriander seeds
  • 1 kg chicken
  • 1 cup of coconut milk
  • salt
  • cup of finger cut size green beans
  • 1 cup cube size potatoes
  • cup of finger cut size carrot

 

Blend all spices except kaffir lime leaves and lemon grass, and fry until you can smell the aroma

Add cut chicken, coconut milk (may add a bit of water), cook until chicken cooked, add salt to taste

Add potatoes, follow with green beans and carrot 

Perkedel kentang

(Potato croquette)

  • kg potato
  • 200 gr corned beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 small red onions
  • shallots
  • peppersalt
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg

 

Peeled potato, washed, cut and fried 

Fry chopped onion and corned beef

Blend together cooked potato and corned beef, add egg yolks, shallots, salt and spices

Then mould the dough into round shapes

Dip into beat white eggs and fry
